In accordance with the visits of konect Group’s technical experts from Sharif Industrial University to the boulevards of Varamin city, a meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Khani, the representative of Varamin Municipality, and Colonel Abdolmaleki, the representative of Traffic Police.
The installation and launch of the systems were carried out in the following order:
- The speed violation registration system in Qasemabad was installed and inaugurated in Bahman 1397 (January-February 2019).
- The speed violation registration system in Reyhanabad was installed and inaugurated in Khordad 1398 (May-June 2019).
- The speed violation registration system in Varna was installed and inaugurated in Tir 1399 (June-July 2020).
- The speed violation registration system in Golnarges was installed and inaugurated in Shahrivar 1399 (August-September 2020).
Considering that the installation locations of these cameras are in high-traffic and accident-prone areas of the city, these systems are of utmost importance. Additionally, through coordination with the Provincial Traffic Police, the maximum allowable speed for traffic on these routes has been set at 60 kilometers per hour, and drivers exceeding this speed limit will be fined for speeding violations.”
