Nowadays, cities are equipped with surveillance cameras to monitor various events and incidents. Traffic and surveillance image monitoring experts at municipal monitoring centers are responsible for observing camera feeds and images. The Shahin system provides the capability to connect the city’s surveillance cameras to the system. This allows for intelligent, manual, and semi-automated enforcement of various resident violations, such as no parking zones, double parking, parking on pedestrian crosswalks, and more. The system is under the supervision and management of operators. By utilizing the existing surveillance camera infrastructure across the city, this system can contribute to enhancing traffic security and creating a safer urban environment.
The system features include:
- Recording and sending violations to traffic police (nighttime traffic restriction, no parking zones, double parking, bus stops, disabled parking, etc.)
- Integration with various network cameras with ONVIF Profile S, Q, T support
- Flexible implementation structure with central server and unlimited client support
- Web-based user interface in both Persian and English
- Optimized graphical interface for monitoring room conditions
- Seamless system operation under various lighting and environmental conditions (day, night, sunrise, sunset, snow, rain, etc.)
- User settings preservation capability
- Integration of monitoring, violation detection, recording, and transmission to traffic police guidance and driving department”
